For exchanges of more than 10,000 subscribers still another selector must be employed to select the particular groupof 10,000 to which the line required is connected. The 1st and 2nd selectors are similar machines, but the connectors are a little less complicated. An important movable part in every selector and** connector is the so-called side-switch.
