The nose wheels of a KC-135 Stratotanker slowly rise
Summary
The nose wheels of a KC-135 Stratotanker slowly rise off the ground as the aircraft is lifted on hydraulic jacks Feb. 5, 2013, at an air base in southwest Europe. Jacks allow maintainers to conduct tests involving raising and lowering the aircraft's landing gear. Airmen from RAF Mildenhall, England, deployed to southwest Europe in January to support French operations in Mali. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Austin M. May)
