Summary
The Legend-class National Security Cutter USS Waesche (WMSL 751) follows the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) and three Royal Thai navy ships in preparation for division tactics during the at-sea portion of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2012 Thailand. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
