ARABIAN SEA (Sep. 08, 2012) Lt. Col. Simon Doran, commanding officer of the Thunderbolts of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 251, launches in an F/A-18C Hornet from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65). Enterprise is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
