Summary

See BMSat 9374, &c. A centaur with the body of the Duke of Bedford flees in terror from the angry British lion, whose head and fore-paws appear on the left. He is dressed as a jockey, with tricolour jacket and tricolour ribbons in his cap (as in other prints, e.g. BMSat 9261). 7 May 1799
