Than Mór Mohácsi csata - A painting of a group of men on horses

Mór Than (1826—1899) was a Hungarian painter. Born at Óbecse (today Bečej, Serbia), Than was educated in Italy and Vienna beside his cooperation with similar famous painters in his homeland. He worked in a realistic – pre-impressionist style. His subjects were mostly historic events and portraits but also mythological or fantasy themes. He painted frescos which decorate several prominent public buildings in Budapest.
