Summary
Spc. Oscar Castro, White Platoon, Bulldog Troop medic, deployed from 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colo., applies anesthetic to 10-year-old Abdul Hagh's head at Combat Outpost Delorean, Bala Murghab, Baghdis province, Afghanistan, Jan. 8, 2011. When the White Platoon soldiers aren't involved in kinetic activities, they perform counter-insurgency operations, development initiatives, and sometime medical aid to the local population.
