Staff Sgt. Mark Masters, currently assigned to 1st Brigade Combat Team, Task Force "Raider," 4th Infantry Division, high-fives a soldier from the Afghan National Army June 8, in the "Old Corps" area of Kandahar City. The ANA were in the area to provide security for a soccer game between two local teams after a ribbon cutting ceremony which signified the official opening of a new soccer field in sub district one of the city. The new field was one of many projects headed by TF ‘Raider’ and their Afghan National Security Forces partners in their joint-reconstruction efforts to improve quality of life, safety and security for residents of Kandahar City.
