Staff Sgt. Jason Blas, 36th Medical Support Squadron pharmacy flight chief, helped saved the life of a tourist Aug. 5, 2016, at Gun Beach in Tamuning, Guam. With his experience as a former lifeguard, and now a medical professional, Blas provided life-saving care to a man who was drowning before emergency responders arrived on scene.
