Summary
Commemorative square celebrating Lord Lyon, the British thoroughbred racehorse that won the Epsom Derby in 1866. In the center is the horse and rider surmounted by a large blue bow. A circle of medallions surrounds them, each medallion containing the name of the winning horse from years past. The border contains a dense framework of additional medallions, each with winning horses from years that extend back to the 18th century.
