Spc. Kelvin Green is from Little Rock, Ark, and an 88M Heavy Vehicle Operator who performs a special role at the Taji National Depot, as a Kalmar operator. The Kalmar is a container moving piece of equipment that requires special training to operate. Green assists the Defense Logistics Agency by training Iraqi army soldiers on the Kalmar, as well as moves containers around the TND yard. "They are a little shaky at first but after you teach them a few things they are pretty comfortable with it," Green said in reference to his training with the Iraqi Soldiers. Green is currently deployed with the 1123rd Transportation Company, 1st Squadron, 152nd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Sustainment Brigade, in support of Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
