Soldiers from the California Army National Guard 40th Combat Aviation Brigade hit the ground running during a small unit tactics exercise at Fort Hood, Texas, Oct. 18, 2015. During this training scenario, Soldiers practiced surviving after a simulated UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter emergency landing.
