Print depicting the situation of the Hecla and the Fury, which took part in Parry's attempt to discover a N/W passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific, on the 1st August, 1825. Most of the image is taken up by a colossal ice cliff which dwarfs the boats below it. An impression of this print appears as the frontispiece to the account by Parry of this voyage. The Fury is probably on the right of the picture.
