Shoeing a bullock, Korea, (s.d.) (Taylor box21num14)
Summary
Shoeing a bullock, Korea, [s.d.]
Bullocks are shod to protect their hooves on rough roads. This method is peculiar to eastern Asia. Horses and donkeys are handled the same way. The animal is securely fastened in a sling as shown here, or it may be thrown on the the ground and its feet tied before the blacksmith attempts to shoe it.
