Summary
SAN DIEGO (July 12, 2020) Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21, “Blackjacks”, stationed at Naval Air Station North Island, loaded the Airborne Mine Neutralization System (AMNS) AN/ASQ-235 for use during a Mine Countermeasure Exercise led by the Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) as part of U.S. 3rd Fleet’s Trident Warrior exercise. Trident Warrior, in its 18th year of execution, is an annual U.S. 3rd Fleet at-sea field experiment that helps the Navy identify warfighting capability gaps and provides inventive solutions in an operational environment.
