Summary
Gulf Shores, Ala. - Sampson, a six-year-old Labrador retriever from Conservation Canines, searches for the scent of a buried Kemp's Ridley sea turtle nest. During the month of August, the Gulf Coast Incident Management Team employed the Conservation Canines program from the University of Washington Center for Conservation Biology to assist in the detection of sea turtle nests in Alabama.
