BALTIMORE (Jun. 14, 2012) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Keneeka Moneghan, left and Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Nevada Pinto, both assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ft. McHenry (LSD 43), participate in a flag detail with firefighters from across the country before a special ceremony at the Star-Spangled Banner House near Baltimore's Inner Harbor. During the ceremony, a carefully prepared patch with threads from the original Star-Spangled Banner were sewn on to the National 9/11 Flag. The event was a highlight of Baltimore's Sailabration and Navy Week Baltimore 2012. Navy Week Baltimore is one of the signature events around the country commemorating the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the Star-Spangled Banner.
