Summary
Sailors conduct vertical replenishment training with helicopters from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 3 aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91). Pinckney is returning from Port Hueneme, Calif., where they conducted a combat systems and deck groom to prepare for an upcoming board of inspection and survey (INSURV). INSURV is conducted every five years of a ship's life to ensure mission readiness and material conditions are up to standards. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Daniel M.
