Notes: The painting depicts Rustam in his traditional dress with the cow headed mace on his waist, who is holding another man in lilac coat and orange trousers over his head. There is no doubt about the characters involved, as their names as well as the signature of the painter Muhammad Sadiq are mentioned on the miniature, as well as the date, 1120/1705. The triple wide frame consisting of different kinds of ornaments is of floral decoration with birds and butterflies, sitting on the blossoming on blossoming cherries, hyacinths, tulips.
