Summary
Common name: Rose Origin: Introduced in 1909 by Pemberton Uses: Hybrid Musk Class. A re-bloomer that is fragrant. The buds are golden-yellow that give way to clusters of yellow flowers. The foliage is smooth and shiny and the stems are purple. A new introduction to Alcatraz in 2006, this rose fits the time period of the Military prison, when roses were very popular with Victorians.
