Tyson, commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific, presents a plaque to the headmistress of the Sekolah Kebangsaan Kijal elementary school after the opening of a new school assembly building jointly constructed by U.S. Navy Seabees and Royal Malaysian Engineers during cooperation afloat readiness and training (CARAT) 2008. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and several Southeast Asian nations designed to build relationships and enhance operational readiness.
