Production. Small ramp boats. A tow of wooden ramp boats used for landing men and equipment on beaches. These thirty-six-foot boats, just launched at a large Southern shipyard, will soon be delivered to the Navy. The high bottom-hinged sterns of these boats are used as ramps to make fast, dry-shod landings at beach locations of any kind. Higgins Industries
