Parked in the foreground are Douglas Dakotas of Nos. 46 and 47 Groups, which operated a regular air service from Croydon to Prague. The nearest aircraft is KN386 of No. 24 Squadron RAF. Behind them are Short Stirlings of No. 38 Group, which were being used to repatriate Czechoslovaks from the United Kingdom to their homeland.
