Pidge Tavern, 586 Pawtucket Avenue, Pawtucket, Providence County, RI
Summary
Significance: Built in the early eighteenth century, the four-room house was expanded around 1767. The mid century improvements included a six-bay facade and pedimented doorway. The building became a tavern in 1783.
HABS documentation in 1938-40 includes a photograph taken after the building's restoration, as well as a photocopy of an earlier image. By 1975, when the HABS catalogue card was typed, the building was said to have been demolished.
