Summary
Pararescuemen from Alaska and California Air National Guard rescue units are in Texas assisting with Hurricane Harvey humanitarian disaster relief operations. They arrived at Fort Hood via an Alaska Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster III transport aircraft Aug. 29, 2017. The pararescue teams were transported to the Orange County Convention and Expo Center in Orange, Texas by a C-47 Chinook helicopter from the 2-149th Aviation Battalion, Texas Army National Guard, Aug. 30, 2017.
