Photo of Pair of flower holders - Public domain dedication

description

Summary

A flower can be inserted in each of the holes on the top of these holders. Although the scenes on the walls appear to be alike, they all differ slightly.

In the early 17th century, tin-glazed earthenware was made in Holland, in the town of Delft, whence the art was introduced into England. Delft thus refers to tin-glazed wares produced both in the Netherlands and in England.
