Summary
Petty Officer 1st Class John Overy, steel worker, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 18, welds CONEX boxes to create a new post office for U. S. troops at Kandahar Air Field. The new post office will save troops on the south side of the base a mile-long walk to pick up and drop off packages.
