Significance: This building has the distinction of being one of the few in Milwaukee Junction that is still used for its original purpose. The Fisher Body Corporation operated a stamping plant here from 1925-1989. In 1992, entrepreneur Gregory Smith purchased the property and began producing stampings. This site was also used as a set for the film "Eight Mile" about Detroit rapper Eminem.
