Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) supervisors review a barracks construction site.

description

Summary

GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Sep. 10, 2008) Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) supervisors review a barracks construction site on Recruit Training Command Great Lakes. The site visit is part of a NAVFAC safety-training course to recognize safety and health hazards on job sites. Due in part to effective oversight, NAVFAC Midwest contractors have not suffered a lost-workday mishap during more than 1.5 million man-hours of work since 2005.
