Military members with Operation Continuing Promise
Summary
Military members with Operation Continuing Promise 2015 and missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints visit the Centre where Adolescents Learn to Love and Serve in Portsmouth, Dominica on July 29, 2015. The service members and missionaries donated gardening tools, seeds, toys and shoes to CALLS, which relies mostly on donations. The centre helps to put at-risk teenagers and young adults on the right path by teaching them vocational skills. Many of the toys and shoes were donated to children at a daycare centre located in the same building as CALLS. Operation Continuing Promise is a mission in which the United States military works with host nations to provide humanitarian assistance and execute civil-military operations alongside various partner nations within the Caribbean and Central and South America.
