Michigan Air National Guard deploys to Estonia for Saber Strike 2012
Summary
Lt. Col. Bil Henderson, Michigan Air National Guard, looks at grave markers in a small cemetery just outside Amari Air Base, Estonia, June, 10, 2012. For about five decades, the Amari Air Base was used by the military of the Soviet Union and military personnel from Amari were buried in the cemetery. When Estonia gained its independence from the Soviet Union in 1992, the base reverted to Estonian control and is now used by the Estonia Air Force.
