Kang, a retired Hawaii National Guard veteran works on restoring a Boeing F4B-4 aircraft for the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The Boeing F4B-4 served as a fighter for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army in the early 1930s, and is considered to be the last wooden-winged fighter produced by Boeing and used by the U.S. military.
