Members of the Chilean Marine Corps conduct training at the newly constructed Modern Operations On Urban Terrain (MOUT) Site during the Junior Leaders Training at Fort Aguayo, Chile, on April 4, 2012. The MOUT Site is a collaboration between the U.S. State Department's Global Peace Operations Initiative, U.S. Southern Command, U.S. Army South and the Chilean Armed Forces. The MOUT Site is being used during the annual exercise, Peacekeeping Operations-Americas, in which 17 countries will practice peacekeeping tactics, techniques and procedures to ensure a shared understanding of UN peacekeeping initiatives in South and Central America and the Caribbean.
