arge houses in the cement industry. Brother Davis was raised in Esoteric Lodge, Ellsworth,Me., Dec. 31, 1878. He was exalted in Acadia Royal ArchChapter at Ellsworth, Me., May 23, 1883, and knighted in St.Johns Commandery of Bangor, Me., in 1886. Since taking up permanent residence in this city, BrotherDavis has acquired membership in Mt. Lebanon Lodge, St.Andrews Royal Arch Chapter and St. Bernard Commandery. In 1891 he applied for and received the grades of theScottish Rite, becoming a member of Massachusetts Con-sistory. After serving three years as Assistant Captain of the Guard,three years as Master of Ceremonies and three years as FirstLieutenant, he was elected Commander-in-Chief of the Consis-tory December, 1900, and presided over its deliberations duringthe years 1901, 1902 and 1903. At the session of the Supreme Council, held at Milwaukee,Wis., Sept. 17, 1901, Brother Davis was created a SovereignGrand Inspector General, 33d degree, and Honorary Memberof the Supreme Council.

Rinaldo Buren Richardson 33 70 Massachusetts Consistory R1NALDO BUREN RICHARDSON 33° Brother Richardson is the son of Enos S. and Melinda(Atherton) Richardson, and was born at Pelham, Mass., June17, 1855. His father being in the military service of the Government,the family moved from place to place as the exigencies of hisoffice required, finally settling in Maiden. Here Brother Richardson acquired his education, finallyattending Brown University at Providence, R.I., where hetook up the study of law, but has never practised, becominginterested in real estate. He was raised a Master Mason in Joseph Warren Lodge,Boston, May 25, 1886, and was exalted in St. Andrews RoyalArch Chapter Jan. 2, 1889. He received the degrees of the Cryptic Rite in BostonCouncil Royal and Select Masters March 28, 1889, and waselected Thrice Illustrious Master in September, 1899. Knighted in Boston Commandery Knights Templar, March22, 1889, he served as its Eminent Commander from October,1902, to October, 190
