(Oct. 16, 2018) Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) onload a vehicle onto the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) as part of the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4 composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is the final pre-deployment exercise that certifies the combined Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 22nd MEU's abilities to conduct military operations at sea and project power ashore through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic training scenarios.
