Summary

In 1902, the Independent Telephone Company started services in Seattle. In 1912, it was absorbed by the Sunset Telephone Company, which was renamed the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1913. It was headquartered in this building at the northwest corner of 4th Avenue and Marion Street, Downtown Seattle.
