Als Epitaph für den Dessauer Fürsten Joachim (geb. 1509) gestiftet von seinen Neffen, den Fürsten Joachim Ernst und Bernhard. Anstelle der Apostel sind hier evangelische Theologen, u.a.Luther und Melanchton dargestellt. Der Mundchenk ist möglicherweise ein Selbstbildnis Cranachs des Jüngeren. Der Siegelring, den diese Person trägt, zeigt die geflügelte Schlange.
