Letter from Arnold Buffum, Andover, [Massachusetts], to William Lloyd Garrison and Isaac Knapp
Summary
Arnold Buffum writes to William Lloyd Garrison and Isaac Knapp sending them a letter from Lowell to include in the Liberator (the letter appears in the Liberator of October 27, 1832 [Vol. II, no. 43]) and explaining a note in the letter. Buffum details his plans to go to Newburyport and his "hope to meet friend Garrison" there, although he wishes he had a letter of introduction "to some of our friends." He also discusses his desire to have a meeting with the Board of Managers of the New England Anti-Slavery Society to consult about continuing his lecture tour. Buffum declares he "feel[s] more and more engaged in the cause".
