Letter from Abner Belcher, Wrentham, to Amos Augustus Phelps, July 19th 1845
Summary
In answering Amos A. Phelps's letter, Abner Belcher gives detailed information about Philander Ware of will, according to which one half of the proceeds goes to “the furtherance of the Anti Slavery cause in such way and manner as shall seem to [Belcher] judicious” and the other half to be paid to the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions.
