John Collier (1901–1980) was an English painter and writer, one of the famous representatives of the pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. John Collier is one of the most successful and famous artists of the pre-Raphaelite movement. This was facilitated by his entourage: a happy childhood, parenting support and personal ambitions. His work aroused the interest and understanding of his contemporaries, but no less than they attract modern viewers for its refined aesthetics and breathtaking scenes.
