From the 1 April 1933 onwards Jewish shops in Nazi-Germany were vandalised to warn people not to buy here. The signs on the shop read: Jew!
Deutsch: Schaufenster der Firma Deutsche Compagnie Heitinger & Co. Einzelhandel in Herren- und Knabenkleidung, gegründet 1902, Dresdener Straße 20, Berlin-Kreuzberg. Ab 1. April 1933 wurden in Nazideutschland jüdische Geschäfte mit Parolen beschmiert, um davor zu warnen, hier einzukaufen.
