Prince Charles Edward Stuart surrounded by figures depicting the hopelessness of his cause after the destruction of the French Fleet Portrait of Prince Charles in oval frame, surrounded by the sea with ships, and one shipwrecked with a classical woman on stone steps holding an ancholr, and an angel man holding some instrument to cut the anchor, and a cherub on top of his oval framed portrait blowing bubbles with a crown in them and then the text at the top: "Carolus Eduardus Primogenit Braetendentis Magnae Brittaniae natus Romae d. 31. Dec. 1720"
