Inside the Emergency Operations Center during a tornado exercise Feb. 19, Tech. Sgt. Joanna Richmond, right, and Staff Sgt. Tyler Yancey, both with the 72nd Security Forces Squadron, communicate with Incident Command about details and actions of their unit which will be conveyed to the Commander's Action Team. The EOC serves as a hub of all communication during an emergency, either scenario or real-world. The EOC is divided into ESF's, or Emergency Support Functions, ranging from the EOC director to Civil Engineering, Security Forces, Emergency Management, Public Affairs, Bioenvironmental, Airfield Management, Legal, Medical and Safety.
