Railway employees working in the pattern shop, where patterns are made in wood prior to moulding. Man on extreme left is identified on the back of the file print as Bob Mather. Probably Tom Mather who is listed in Wise's Post Office Directory (1928-1940s), and the Electoral Roll (Hutt, Lower, 1928-1941) as a pattern-maker, and whose house Godber photographed (APG-0862-1/2). Photographed by Albert Percy Godber in 1929.
