Kautsky, Indianapolis, Indiana, an employee of the Lin-Belt Co., was awarded his citation for four suggestions, each technical. He suggested a grinding wheel adapter, which permits higher speeds in internal grindings; a simplification cutting down the number of special internal grinding spindle wheel adapters from twelve to three; the adoption of a precision screw adjustment to the vertical column of dial indicator guages, to get faster adjustments without danger to the dials; and a new method of testing the concentricity of internally ground parts.
