Summary
Zander Type G-3 Motorized Abdominal Massage Unit" is green velvet upholstered oak-framed couch with a movable raised portion in the middle (slanted on one end, perpendicular to the top on the other end) that has six disk-like massage hammers. These are attached to wooden slats that are in turn connected to brass gears on the axle between two wheels, attached by leather belts to a motor. On the end opposite the motor is an ornate cast-iron wheel with a handle; this increases or lessens the movement of the wheels. The wooden frame of the "couch" has six feet with braces spanning each of them.
This machine provides abdominal percussion. The user lies with thighs on the slanted portion of the raised section and his abdomen over the hole with the moving disks. The raised section moves backward and forward while the disks move up and down to knead the abdomen.
