description

Summary

Hayden Falls is in a scenic gorge located on Hayden Run northwest of Upper Arlington. The water from Hayden Run flows into the Scioto River. The 35-foot high waterfall has been preserved and is now part of Hayden Run Park located near Griggs Reservoir. It is home to several interesting rare and endangered plants. An accompanying caption in the June 1918 Norwester magazine described Hayden Falls as "a cool beauty spot just above Upper Arlington."
