PACIFIC OCEAN (Sep. 27, 2007) Guided-missile destroyer USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53), assigned to Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, fires her five-inch MK-45 54-caliber lightweight gun during a sea power demonstration for friends and family members aboard nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68).
