Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft systems are staged for
Summary
Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft systems are staged for inspections Aug. 12 in the recently opened Fort Hood Unmanned Aircraft System Maintenance Hangar at Robert Gray Army Airfield, West Fort Hood, Texas. The facility accommodates Soldiers’ workflow better than their previous hangar by implementing a hardwire platform throughout the building, allowing Soldiers the ability to communicate instantly with the aircraft and flight operations from their individual workstations. Utilizing this hardwire system, Troopers can plug their log books into their individual workstations, whereas before they had to use wireless routers to migrate data packages.
