Summary
LIBI_00268_07944; A 6 5/8" x 4 1/2” mounted on a 10" x 73/4" card. The image depicts a woman standing in an area of low ground vegetation. She is wearing traditional clothing with bead or quill work on the upper part. Hanging from the tree is a shawl with beaded designs on it. Behind her is a tree. The photo was taken on the Crow Reservation in Montana. A handwritten note on the card in ink reads: "Good Woman (Sioux)" The image is in good condition. It was taken by Fred E. Miller circa 1898.
